Huckabee won’t drop out. He can’t.
As he’s stated, I believe most Americans want their next president to remind them of the guy they work with, not the guy who laid them off.
In Huckabee’s mind, business operators must keep every employee employed at all costs. Because they are owed a living. No matter that your business will go bankrupt and ultimately leave every employee unemployed.
I assume the same logic applies to Huckabee’s campaign.
No matter how miserably he’s doing, no matter that he’ll have no more money to pay the employees, he has to keep it going fully staffed until the checks start bouncing.
If he doesn’t, his staff (who, like all employees, are owed a living) will be left unemployed.
Not sure I would trust this guy to downsize the Federal government. But at least he’s not a quitter.
