This is America! Broadcasters are free to broadcast pretty much what they wish and there is a channel selector for the people’s. I see no reason to change either. There is a channel called BET(Black Entertainment Television) Maybe they should start covering all the missing black women?
Oh I see, black folk should concern themselves with black folk and whites with whites. Is this the "separate but equal doctrine" brought to broadcasting? Wow what a helpful tool for those who wish to assuage their conscience with the "well they got thier own" defense.
You might continue advocating this position. After all it was pretty much law of the land until the 1960's and who knows it might make a come back. They got their own colleges why are they trying to go to ours, they got their own churches why are they showing up here, they got their own soda shops ... etc...
To pervert a phrase: You might be a racist if "they got their own" comes to mind when some raises an issue with equal treatment of blacks in the broader culture.
