If, in the tape he mentiones this man as helping get rid of the body, but this person was not in the country at the time.. then this blows the ‘confession’ out of the water..

I think he did it, but if the story he told on tape doess not match facts then it is a problem, I think.

He did have a friend who had a small boat and who took it to sea the following day, in Aruba. Misreading, or mishearing, the reference to be someone who was in Europe at the time is a red herring.
