As an immigration activist who drove four days each in SC and FL dogging the McCain campaign protesting at his events, I know a little something about the immigration issue and where the candidates stand. Romney is my choice after Fred Thompson dropped out. Fred had the best and most detailed immigration and border security plan. It was written by Kris Kobach, a well-known immigration expert respected throughout the immigration community, especially for his work in Hazelton. Kris has moved over to the Romney campaign. That should tell you something.
