Nope, not this time. I don’t trust Mr. “Gang of 14” on judges any more than I trust him on anything else. He despises me and everything I believe in, and I will return the favor here in Florida in November. And I’ve been a reliable Republican vote for decades.

Ask your boss when the last time a Presidential candidate won without his base. If he’s still capable of rational thought, he won’t like the answer.

The Democrats are probably not going to pull out of Iraq (though they should!). Both Clinton and Obama have pledged to keep some troops in Iraq.....thus leaving much wiggle room. Only Richardson called for total withdrawal.

He keeps repeating it and the media hasn’t challenged him, therefore it is a reality for many people.

You need to stop your infighting.

Although I share the feelings of most of the posters here, I don't think the average Republican will sit out this election. People want to be part of the result. They will want to vote against the nominee of the Democrats, even if that means voting for McCain.

I think its time for true Conservatives to seriously consider forming a new national party. The Republican Party is not a Conservatives only club and that means it will only see us as a faction. Just something to think about.

I would like to thank all the Commies in the MSM for orchestrating and manipulating this fiasco

They have done nothing different than they have done for the past forty years. They are predictable. We have effed ourselves by infighting.

I thought the only total withdrawal guy was Kookcinich. At any rate, they’ve tried in a couple of debates now to get the Dems to say they will withdraw the troops. Neither Hillary nor Obama will take the pledge. They’re liberals, but they’re not stupid. They know thay have absolutley no chance of getting reelected if they pull the troops out of Iraq too soon and things fall completely apart.

“I have never DESPISED a politician like I do that arrogant bastard McCain.

I’m 54 and I’ve voted Republican all my life.

I will NOT vote for that SOB and I know many that feel like I do.”

Funny you should say that, I too think he is an arrogant SOB, I guess it must be true then, because obviously I am seeing something that others see too.

As I said on another thread, I will sit out the November election if McCain is the GOP nominee.

Sorry......

But something REALLY smells here....and Rush touched on it briefly today.

IMO, the American people are being sold down the river..AGAIN!!

The elites in Washington politics...ON BOTH SIDES...are orchestrating this election...and us dupes don't/can't see the writing on the wall.

Frankly...I've had it...and I'm not going to take it anymore.

I WILL NOT VOTE FOR JOHN McCAIN. PERIOD!

One thing I know for sure. I will never vote for McCain and will do anything I can to see that McCain does not become President.

This election is very important. The following are irreversible changes that could happen in the next 4-8 years:

- Amnesty
- Nationalized health care
- Nuclear Iran

I don't want to imagine the tax burden we will share if number 1 and 2 both happen.

You aparently do not understand the determination of the conservative spirit. If we say we are not going to vote for the insane old man, then we are NOT going to vote for him. Did I mention that I’m a very stubborn conservative? Ain’t gonna vote for the man. Never. And I mean it now, tomorrow, next, week and next Nov.

Gee, I wonder why the media hasn’t challenged McCain over his claims to be personally responsible for the surge. Oh, I know, it must be because he is so tall and handsome. NO, better yet, it’s because they want him to think he is getting away with it! Just wait till Hillary gives him a dose of reality! Must we be played for fools?
