Imagine yourself a service-member at a forwarding operating base in Iraq, knowing that if you get captured and our guys have those detained that they can get information out of that might save you from being truly tortured....to death, and under McCain, they can’t use interrogation techniques as mild as water-boarding to prevent it. He is not looking out for our troops. He carefully calculated his position to take advantage of the dual positions of being tough on the war and soft on the terrorists. He was looking out for himself only like the mealy-mouthed politician he is.
Or imagine yourself as a downed bomber pilot who got himself stabbed, then hung, then taken to Hanoi for medical procedures on a broken clavical along with a fractured skull...
