There are 1254 delegates left. In order to win the nomination Romney needs to win 947 (80%) of those. Given that he has won only 21% of them so far, it seems it just about mathematically impossible.
Good math. I never looked at it the other way around.
Maybe this is why Romney is meeting with Congressional leaders amid rumors that he is dropping out.
