I disagree with McCain on many issues. But maybe he would be good on cutting spending as he claims. I like Bush, but he has been horrible on spending.

But maybe he would be good on cutting spending as he claims.Without the line item veto, a President can't cut spending. Certainly not with an opposing Congress. At best he can bring gridlock but to do that he'd have to diss his buds. Ain't gonna happen.
