If you think McCain won’t be better than either one, you’re wrong

Conservatives have never had any influence on McCain and will not have any influence on a lame duck President McCain. (Can anyone really imagine a second term at his age?) He will hobnob with Dems and pass a Democratic agenda by strong arming
party loyalist into voting for the leftist legislation. No thanks, there is no reason to vote for McCain.

You could not possibly be more wrong. There is no real difference between McCain, Obama, and Hillary. They are all creatures of the state, near full time career elected or civil servants. None of them like the Constitution. None of them like tax cuts. Not one of them could run a business. John McCain wants to bow down to the environmental lobby and show everyone how perfectly he can suck up to bad science on the global warming front. None of them really know how to fight a war against Muslims. If you want to start a war against Muslims, everyone should pick up the bible, put on the uniform and declare the homestead act in the Middle East. ANYTHING short of that will be the terminally sophomoric police action we know fail time after time. John McCain has an F- (AN F- !!) from Gun Owners of America. He has been called mentally unstable by his fellow colleagues. He voted for Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

If you want to have a good fantasy, start dreaming about Scarlet Johansen or Penelope Cruz, but don't indulge this idiotic notion that McCain represents a choice for honorable Americans. He's a beltway traitor, just like the other two.

Nope I totally understand. But I would like them to be honest about what they believe and not take the ‘seeker sensitive approach’ which I think is a deceptive practice.

I think everyone is totally obscuring the issue. I agree with your post. It disqualifies a person if they feel they have to lie about what they believe in order to obtain that office. And I’ve already seen and heard that from his own mouth.

Then there’s huckabee, who while he has some good conservative social policies, has far too many socially and fiscally liberal ones and admits to believing in the seeker-sensitive approach. This leads me to think he is going to have a HARD time pushing issues which because of our pluralistic society are terribly divisive and controversial.
