If you read my post properly you’d see I was talking about the primaries. By all means vote McCain in the GE. But not doing so in the primaries would send a message.
If McCain realises the small margin he’s winning this nom, it may lead him to change his ways and at least TRY to govern conservatively, knowing he’ll NEED the conservative base in the GE.

My caucus gave McCain the most delegates, with Huckabee in second place and Romney almost as many as Huck.
My precinct was 80% Romney and 20% Huckabee.
We were unanimous that Immigration was the #1 issue.
Romney’s %16.72 is pretty damn good for some who’s outta the race.
With McCain only getting %25.74, one thing is clear: Romney would have won Washington if he was still in the race.

I figured things might go like you described so working some overtime on a Saturday seemed like a better choice.
It’s going to be a long wait until 2012. I only hope that the republic is still standing.
Much of Western Washington is very Liberal. Seattle, Tacoma and Olympia areas. Washington’s East of the Cascade side is conservative. If you look at the presidential races by county and especially the last Governor race, most of the state is red. King County (Seattle) however, has a large enough population to dictate for the rest of the state.
I'm glad the race was close, I think it still sends a message that McCain is being rejected by a majority of Republicans!
