Thanks for your reply. I have huge admiration for the US and its rich pioneer heritage. It really is a beacon of freedom and hope in the world and I applaud you for it.
The US military has been inspirational throughout its history (its courage and professionalism displayed once more in recent years.)

I appreciate you taking the time, and making the effort to answer my post with such a thoughtful response. I disagree, however, with the idea that we should descard what people say on the internet, though, as I believe people are at their most honest when they can do so anonymously.
Thank you again, and I should mention that Americans were very grateful for the support that we received right after 911.
