Story of my life.
"...I do work for GM and have for 21 years."
Tell your GM coworkers the C6 has been one of the most magnificent automotive driving experiences I've ever had, easily topping the C5 & that was no easy goal.
Add to the superior handling & styling the MZ6 gearing has delivered an astounding 30MPG, highway. As long as performance *demands* aren't made of the LS2 --and one's not burning the garbage ethenol-- the LS2's surprisingly gas-stingy. I'm hoping our future LS3 is at least as good, we know it'll deliver more performance.
Hey world automakers, top that.
We've an Infiniti FX-35, love it. Great fit & finish and styling. BUT reliability has been no better than our 4 GM products, impeccable for 'em all. Unfortunately the Infiniti's twin cam 24 valve V6 is one hell of a gas guzzler, simply awful and unlike anything we've ever owned, and we've owned a lot.
Because of the Infiniti's lousy mileage we'll be considering the Buick Enclave when time comes to turnover the FX.
Buick hits a home run clean outa the park with Enclave styling we fell. Close to or even topping the FX-35 but without the price tag. Reasonably decent mileage will cinch the deal for our acquiring a new Buick.
My pal's Saturn RL's been one hellova great car, also.
Fabulous looks/styling & features in a small, efficient package. The RL delivers performance one wouldn't believe from a 4 cylinder that'd shame a Honda S2000, again minus the S2K's price.
GM builds marques delivering satisfaction, performance & reliability far exceeding anything built today by 98% of the other car manufacturer on the planet, hands-down.
Nice job.
...keep it up. ;^)
Why has quality improved?
