Yeah...I agree too! I should have said so at the time.

It's one thing to disagree with the Republican front runner, but absolute treason to actively support the opposition.

Instead of banning Freepers like me who have occasionally voted for Democrats, why not ban Freepers who have stopped taking their antipsychotic psychiatric medications? It would probably cut the number of posts by 10-20%, but the overall quality of posts would certainly improve.

Or perhaps, to be inclusive and to promote diversity, FR might open a "Locked Ward" section exclusively for off-the-rails, off-their-meds Freepers?

Let me guess. You were a Buchananite in 92 and 96.

Seriously, banishing people from a web site for trying to manipulate the outcomes of elections in their own states?

You did that too?? (grin)

I voted for Joe Lieberman to keep Ned Lamont from winning.

I am not displeased with this difficult decision.

Ban me?

I’d take a Zell Miller over a Rino any day. Conservative (Truly COnservative) Democrat is better then a liberal GOP.

What business of yours is it who FReepers in good standing vote for that you want them banned, Adolph?

I'm sick of self righteous posters telling me I need to vote for someone to satisfy them I'm a good conservative. Voting for John McCain will not mean I'm a good conservative. It would mean I'm willing to sacrifice my principles for short term gain if any. I think McCain is a nutter.

I'm not going to vote for a Democrat. That means McCain, too.

But I will fight for anyone's right here to vote for one if they choose.

You should be just as willing.

I just don't want to hear their barfalicious propaganda here any more than I want to hear about calls for age-old FReepers to get banned if they're upset with the current situation.

They have a right to be.

I enjoyed watching Buchanan campaign - but he is (and was) too "isolationist" for my vote.

I liked Perot and I still admire him.

I like GW Bush too. He is an honest, sincere and straightforward man. I don't always agree with his policies, but I often do.

I like Rudy - but have some disagreements...

I like Romney....(I have fewer disagreements with him)

I like Fred - but never felt inspired enough to get on any "Fred Bandwagon"

I like Huckabee....there are a couple of issues I have with him, but I wouldn't hesitate to vote for him.

.

I even like Obama. I'd like for me and my wife to have dinner with him and his wife.....I wouldn't vote for him - but I have that feeling that I would like him........I cannot say the same about Hillary.

McCain could inspire me to get excited --- but he has some work to do.

Hell, I would vote for Zell Miller over most Republicans in office.

I also offered Zell my personal apology for thinking bad about him when he was appointed to take over when Coverdale passed away.

I even like Obama.

I don't. He not only defended infanticide, he claimed that there is no principle that protects children from being murdered.

He's a hardcore leftist, and an evil thug.

You could always set up your own website with your own posting rules.

But that would be too hard. It just sounds like a lot of work!

I have voted for 2 Democrats since I started voting back in 1960 and have regretted it since. One was a good friend who turn to being an AH after he was elected. Nothing corrupts like being a Democrat office holder.
