“Scott Rasmussen just said the same thing on Fox.”

I certainly did not wish to be right.....

He won't be able to handle this with his ego. I predict a pattern of self destruction and some bitter retribution.

He's been milking his ex-presidency for all its worth and made millions in the process. Additionally, he's been banking on being back in the white house and I have a feeling that he's been accepting money and making deals accordingly. All that will blow up in his face if Hillary is denied.

Down with Hillary! Down with the Clintons!

“I guarantee you this ... if we try to expose obama’s real liberalism, the left will use the term “swiftboating”.
“True—but that kind of namecalling didn’t prevent Kerry’s loss.”

I guess when they do, I will take it as a sign we are hitting home. My point is that (a) an outside group will have to do it and (b) they will be attacked for cracking the shell of Obama’s mythical ‘change’ mantra.

Reminds me of Huck’s statement in one of the debates - “if you are not taking flak, you’re not over the target.”

Agree completely. This guy is very scary. Not only as a candidate as McCain will have a nearly an impossible time beating him, but also as, God forbid, President. THE MOST LIBERAL MEMBER OF THE U.S. SENATE. Good grief that is bad news. Couple that with his being incredible inexperienced and flat our naive/ignorant/wrong on foreign policy and we are in for a world of hurt. The words "abject disaster" come to mind. The incredibly scary thing is how many republican friends I have who buy into his vapid speeches. It is truly frightening.

DITTOS.

This election will not be about political ideology. It will be about personality.

Then we'll get what we deserve.

I fear the first is the one which will prove true.

I see both happening. The first will sweep Obama to the nomination and the second will happen during the general election. I hope. Not that I like McCain by any stretch of the lower GI tract....but I do not want a Dem in office.

You can’t claim that the Clintons are dead until you smacked the dirt down with the back of the shovel a few times. They’re like zombies; they keep coming back.

She is either a lot less powerful than I gave her credit for, or else she has nothing on obama.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

The country has changed! She wouldn’t be in the race herself if people still cared about dirt. There is plenty wrong with Obama that is already known but you cannot reason with voters who vote purely on emotional reaction,”It’s so COOOOLLLL to have a chance to vote for a blackman, he’s so AWESOME DUDE”.
The idiots are running the asylum now, how do you get past that? We saw it with Clinton, he could and still does do things that would have ended a career in the past and he goes right on. The situation only grows worse with each passing election cycle, more and more idiot voters who literally lack the capacity to make a choice based on logic.
If another rock star in the mold of a young Michael Jackson comes along I wouldn’t be surprised to see him elected President.

No, the country still loves dirt. That hasn’t changed. My guess is that Clinton realizes that attacking obama now will also kill her own chances because of the backlash. She will sit on anything she has and when the time comes, she will use it to blackmail obama into giving her a supreme court seat.

Most of McCain’s would-be flock will return to him in either case, whether it winds up being HRC or BHO-—and at this point it’s still harder to figure out which of them would be easier for McCain to beat. I can’t quite foresee a scenario where Hillary becomes as “clear” a frontrunner somewhere down the road as Obama is generally conceded to be now. Looking at it objectively there would be no better gift for McCain’s supporters than for the Clintons to pull out all the stops and Obama to do the same, just to protect himself. A real mudfight might just turn off enough (D) voters to make them doubt the wisdom of voting for EITHER of them, and bring them over to the (R) side.
And beyond a traditional kind of mudfight, Team Hillary is still probably capable of at least trying to pull off the same kind of nomination-stealing tactics they’ve spent 7 years fine-tuning their accusation against Bush of-—
McCain’s camp , if this happens, would be wise to jump in , right in the middle of the thickest part of it , and point out to the American people that both are unworthy of being C-in-Chief, if they’re behaving like that now.....
Having said all that, the choice among these three still comes down to a choice between Far Left, Farther Left and Rino/Lib masquerading as bi-partisan (ONE-WAY) “reach-across-the aisle “uniter”-—not much of a choice either way. Inevitably all this makes me think of the title of the old 1960s musical “Stop the World, I Want to Get Off”.

All that would be required to sink an Obama nomination would be the gently insistent replay of M.O.’s idiot words from the other day, followed by her idiot cover remarks a day later. However it’s spun, and whatever way it was sliced, a key to her character, AND HIS character resides in the words themselves-—the outright implication being that American has “finally” redeemed itself in her hypercritical Leftwing eyeballs, by waking up in great numbers and backing her husband—
the arrogance behind her words and the sentiment it expresses speaks for itself. She became a permanent liability with that statement, and she will forthwith start receding into the background.

Disagree. There is no way McCain does NOT beat him.
McCain himself just personally MUST be careful not to do anything “insensitive” that might rally more sympathy/support to Obama. THAT is precisely what has kept the Clintons viable politically all these years-—the unearned sympathy from always posing as the good people being persecuted by the Philistines.

We’ve lost it, this time around.

Hello Obama. Goodbye Clintons and RINOS.

That will be one war we need to keep out of...I’m siding with the Russians anyways should that scenario take place. The intervention would seriously PO the muslims and Russia has enough oil so they won’t have to care what the Saudi’s think!
