It was the flying buttresses that gave it away.
lol. I love the dry wit on these threads.
"Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding. In those days, when your numbers have increased greatly in the land," declares the LORD, "men will no longer say, 'The ark of the covenant of the LORD.' It will never enter their minds or be remembered; it will not be missed, nor will another one be made. At that time they will call Jerusalem The Throne of the LORD, and all nations will gather in Jerusalem to honor the name of the LORD. No longer will they follow the stubbornness of their evil hearts." Jeremiah 3:15-17 (emphasis mine).
Here’s one story I saw on a documentary I saw years ago...
The ark was actually found by Israeli agents during a skirmish with Hamas many years ago. According to “legend”, the ark of the covenant MUST never be touching the ground, and was found hanging near a wall. Mossad SF then carried the ark unto a plane, and the entire trip was carried by the agents STANDING UP with the ark never touching the floor of the plane.
I forgot about the name of the series of this show but I saw it on the Sci Fi channel. Just another story to throw in..

Mystery of the Fabled Biblical Ark

True. There is also that 'angel' that is described in Ezekiel.
Also, some Hindu texts have writings on Vimanas ....flying vehicles used by their gods. The interesting thing is a battle between those gods in their vimanas, and how they would shoot flaming arrows that would follow other vimanas no matter how they tried to change direction, and a special arrow that was used that blew up and obliterated everything.
i wans’t aware of the hindo descriptions - I will look that up when I have some time and use of my brain - thanks!
