I agree with you most of the way...except the above-— drugs come here because of the GREEDY CONSUMERS of them here in the US.

The vast majority of Americans who don’t use drugs are still threatened by the collateral damage created by the Mexican drug trade which includes the corruption of U.S. officials. Illegal demand never justifies illegal supply.
Sealing the Border would begin to address half the problem.
