McCain was my 10th choice. Some didn't run-(Cheney, Sanford) others lost (Thompson, Hunter). McCain won. I will crawl over my dying mother to vote against Obama and really can't grasp how others are willing to sit this one out. Again, not trying to pick a fight-I just don't understand.
Not going to sit the election out... just voting for someone other than the Dem or Repub candidate.

I’m with ya man. McPain wasn’t my 1st choice and about a month or so ago I was downright depressed with the way the Primary was going.
I’ve come around a bit and to be honest I expect McCain will be a fine Prez. Especially considering the alternatives.
The more I think about it, I’m convinced that he was/is our only shot this go round. We had to have someone who is percieved as a “moderate”.
I think he’s been purposefully crossing the line for exactly this reason. Maybe he thought McFeingold would fail, and new McShamnesty would go down in flames. I dunno, for most of his career he votes my way, alot more than not.
Anyway, I’m thinking a McCain Presidency is going to be alot more conservative than many think. My two pennies tonight -
