I’d trade Jetton in a minute for someone who’s willing to do his job for $8 an hour. It would cut down on my burden of supporting these bloodsucking government officials who live off of taxpayers’ sweat.

Your idea is the best one of all, but heaven forbid if an elected Republican actually suggested kicking anyone off the government dole. He would be starving the children, and all sorts of horrible things.
He looks like a little wuss. I’ll bet he’s never even broken a nail doing work.
I doubt there is anyone here in favor of the illegals but the guy has a point.
Actually, it doesn’t. Mexicans seem to be content with a low paying job. But they have learned to work the system. Work the low paying jobs, which still leaves them eligible for most benefits, pool their money and live together.

sit and collect welfare.
Reminds me of one of my sons. I had some physical work to do and tried to hire my son and his friend to dig ditches/foundation. They wanted $16.00/hr per person because they felt they were worth that much in whatever skill areas they had. So they sat on their rears while I did the work myself.
Trade HIM for someone that stands UP for LEGAL AMERICANS? How about standing up for legal people that work.
But, I don’t have any sympathy for a guy in elected office shooting his mouth off so crudely.
If you import a bunch of Hispanics, you will also find out in 40 years that you are now the minority due to their expertise in birthrate engineering.

Yes, I believe they call that Communism. But it won’t be long before Mexicans begin replacing those WASP Congrescritters.

Me too, used to work for minimum wage many years ago (when min wage was $2.30). I’m just saying he’s got a lot of room to talk, bet he wouldn’t work for that wage. I don’t think a person can live on that wage without having 2 jobs or living in a multi income household.
I would be willing to trade some of these lazy welfare butts for some industrious, hard working people from anywhere.
So the owner ran an ad for one day in a local mexican oriented newspaper. He wound up with over 200 applicants for the 30 vacancies.
He ONLY hires legal aliens. These employee's start at 6 a.m. and work till it's too dark to see everyday. It's all heavy physical labor. With a crew of 8, planting over 500 various trees (for future stock) wih nothing more than a shovel is not fun. By the way, that's just today's assignment. Tommorow's may be helping out another crew grading a 1/2 mile driveway-with a hand rake. As long as they are LEGAL, these guys/girls bust their butts. And this is considered 'seasonable employment". So you get no medical, workman's comp, or any benefit. All for $7.50 an hour.
There is always going to be low end jobs. Who would you suggest should fill those jobs? Or should we just get rid of all low end jobs and pay burger flippers 50 bucks an hour? The best solution is stop the government entitlement programs. Go back to the way it used to be, when only the poorest of the poor got welfare, no one sued a company out of existance and people didn’t call in sick every other day. I do not agree with illegal immigration! I say really crack down on it. Have a strict policy in place that only a certain number of people can get in this country and become citizens and then actually enforce the law. They should have to be educated people who would contribute something to this country. As for the Mexicans, I remember a time when they would come here to work for the harvest and go back to Mexico after the harvest. They were called migrant workers. They lived in camps supplied by the rancher. But they were watched and had to go back to Mexico after the work was done. Of course those were the days when people had a code of ethics and those days are long gone.
That's kinda what I thought till I looked up his home page. He was a marine, son of missionaries too. I still sent him an email anyways. He should appreciate his legal constituents and not be wanting to trade them for Mexicans.

Seems most of our local, state and fed pols all want uneducated, easily influenced, cheap labor to flood our Country.
And it doesn’t help when supposed informed conservatives here (not just you) give a pass to another Pol who thinks our Sovereignty is an outdated, racist concept.
