Death has replaced sex as the taboo subject of our times, said one of the worlds richest men and leading philanthropists, George Soros, when he launched the Project Death in America fund at Columbia Universitys College of Physicians & Surgeons in 1994. It promotes euthanasia or assisted suicide, and has been succeeded by the Open Society Institutes International Palliative Care Initiative . Soross mother committed suicide, as a member of the Hemlock Society . His father died a lingering death from cancer, and Soros was disappointed at the way the old man clung miserably to life.

For some reason, the image of that old puspocket liverspot Fidel Castro clinging to his goat gland shots just popped up when I read this...
Philanthropist?
The reason is that very soon the baby boomer generation is going to stop being productive, and start being a cost on society as their health care needs multiply. In order to save money, killing the patient must become a morally equivalent option to treating them. Which "treatment option" they recieve will be based on a cost/benefit analysis to society.
One can only hope.
I'd pay good money when the time comes for Soros to beg the reaper for his life. And you know he will beg, for he has no sac.
I thought that, too, especially as I’ve been told by a Cuban friend that Fidel’s walking around wearing a colostomy bag, that is, when he can walk. For all the deaths he both caused, both indirectly and personally, he sure seems to think his own life should be preserved.
“Note to Soros: Karma can be a real b!tch. You find yourself clinging miserably to life and spending your fortune to do it.”

With KlinonKare, he can die shortly after he arrives at the neighborhood KlintonKare Medical Garage. She will, of course, show the properly signed and notorized papers that he signed, willing his fortune to her.
With news like this, my Soylent Green shares are bound to start taking off soon!
Allow me to rephrase you in layman's terms.
He is a sick f@ck!
Nietzsche popularized this theory over a hundred years ago.
Probably just ramblings of mine that really help no one except my own understanding of Soros. He seems so individualistic, defined and determined to have his will and views prevail over others that he is alienated from the rest of his experience.
“I will die in the manner and at the time God ordains for me.”
A retired teacher at my church announced this, more or less, last year just after Christmas. Several years ago she had breast cancer, and after surgery and chemotherapy, it seemed to be in remission. When it recurred last year, she prayed about resuming treatment, and decided to decline the recommendation to resume chemotherapy, understanding that (given the uncertainties of treatment outcomes) effectiveness could not be guaranteed in any case. She died a few weeks ago, and the funeral was an encouraging celebration of her life.
Psalm 90
From Everlasting to Everlasting
A Prayer of Moses, the man of God.
1 Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations.
2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
3 You return man to dust and say,”Return, O children of man!”
4 For a thousand years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, or as a watch in the night.
5 You sweep them away as with a flood; they are like a dream, like grass that is renewed in the morning:
6 in the morning it flourishes and is renewed; in the evening it fades and withers.
7 For we are brought to an end by your anger; by your wrath we are dismayed.
8 You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence.
9 For all our days pass away under your wrath; we bring our years to an end like a sigh.
10 The years of our life are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty;
yet their span is but toil and trouble; they are soon gone, and we fly away.
11 Who considers the power of your anger, and your wrath according to the fear of you?
12 So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.
13 Return, O LORD! How long? Have pity on your servants!
14 Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
15 Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, and for as many years as we have seen evil.
16 Let your work be shown to your servants, and your glorious power to their children.
17 Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!
She is still teaching...
That Psalm is powerful and beautiful.
This is an excellent novelistic treatment of the subject, written 70 years ago, but every bit as relevant today:

I want to go out with a smile on my face like Bill Clinton...not screaming and crying like the intern underneath him.
self-ping for later
