Thanks
Guaranteed.
I hope that is meant as some kind of tasteless metaphor, because I was with him that night, and he didn't cry or show any less of a stoic persona than he always does.
He's out. For certain.
I didn't get that from her statement and her posting record here certainly doesn't support that. There are lots of ways to gain intelligence as to what may be happening, without being caught up in the CAGOP/RNC web. You're reading the wrong tea leaves this time, IMHO.
Ose was my congresscritter before he retired. I lost respect for him after he tried to shove his sister down our throats as his replacement and we got stuck with Lundgren.
I'm not Doug, but I'm here in the 4th Congressional District in California (Sacramento area - Northern California). Very winnable! Last stats I saw were that this district has a 17% Republican advantage. Has been held by a conservative for a number of years.
Doolittle, a Conservative who has unfortunately been tied to Jack Abramoff, is the sitting Congressman. Tom McClintock has great name recognition with his recent campaigns for Governor and Lieutenant Governor. Again, very winnable.
I'm not Doug, but I live in the 3rd CD, Ose's old district, and have family that live in the 4th CD. McClintock should be a lock to win both the nomination and the general election. The 4th CD has overtaken Orange County as the most conservative district in the state. The only reason Charlie Brown came anywhere close to Doolittle was because of the allegations of corruption against Doolittle. Even facing that, Doolittle still won. McClintock is a rock-ribbed conservative, and is squeaky clean.
Thanks cowgirl. Strange day, to be sure!
So, I'm just a partisan? ....
A house organ???? You're very strange.
There’s no denying that Tom McClintock will raise the overall IQ of Congress if he’s elected.
Sounds good to me. Doug Ose was poor on border security issues.
LOL. Now there is a funny one! Hear him on the radio and suddenly you can deem him "not executive material."? And of course, the great Austrian socialist didn't find him "relatable" either so he stabbed him in the back during the election.
There are 5 million or so people who do vote for Tom who disagree with you.
Thanks!
Voter Registration for the 4th CD, as of the Feb 5 primary: Republican 47.21% Democratic 30.57% American Independent 2.61% Green 0.96% Libertarian 0.66% Peace and Freedom 0.20% Other 0.40% "Decline to State" 17.38%
If the CAluvdubya account is a Republican, active in party affairs and thinks George Bush is substantially a conservative, then yes, the CAluvdubya account is a partisan who probably sincerly believes that party registration and participation automatically confers conservative credentials.
I'm not enamored with partisans of any stripe, especially Republicans. In the last seven years, the Republican Party apparatchiks have bent over backward to promote liberals (expand the tent) and defeat conservatives such as McClintock. California's current financial crisis rests squarely on the back of the Republican state party apparatus.
Ordinarily it might be polite to excuse their behavior with the lament; when good men do nothing but the betrayal of traditional principles is far beyond indifference. BTW, spare me the song and dance about Democrats. Children will be children and its up to the adults to guide the ship of state.
Admittedly no effort was made to do a background check. My bad. The statement however; "I did find out that there is no colusion to keep him out of the state's RINO's hair....just a will to win." was so out of touch that it begged attention.
I light of the well documented efforts, since April 2003, to keep him out of the RINO's hair, it was hard to appreciate the trust put in the anonymous sources and therefore the veracity of the information ultimately leading to suspicion of the motive for the observation.
Were I a betting soul, I'd still wager partisanship over ignorance.
Thanks for that info ... I was going through the comments trying to figure out who he was and whether or not he was a good guy.
Were I a betting soul, I’d put big money you’re wrong, LOL. And the ccg account doesn’t do that lightly! ;-)
