Lynching has an undeniable racial connotation in our country. My first acquaintance with the word "lynch" was 1950's cowboy movies in which the victim was usually a cattle rustler, another cowboy.
This is just another example of the left trying to hijack the language and control what can or cannot be said and create a class of victims in the process.

I’m with you on this one ... I never in my life ever considered the word ‘lynch’ to be racially exclusive. Yes I am aware that runaway Negro slaves were sometimes hanged, but so were cattle rustlers, horse thieves, and other socially aberrant folks. And I am reasonably sure they were not all blacks!
Political Correctness will destroy this country.
