What an outrageous assertion that only a flamin’ liberal would make! He was born to a military family serving his county on an overseas assignment and the only thing McCain did to become a citizen was to be born.

BTW, by daughter is in exactly the same situation, born in England while I was stationed there on U.S. Air Force duty. She has both a British birth certificate and a “Record of Birth Abroad” issued by the State Department in London.

We conquered England now? Kewl. I hope your daughter does become president someday (if she shares your political views), but, gratuitous as it is, McCain was *also* born on American soil.

True it is outrageous, not so true that only flaming liberals would make it. The hissyfitters on this site had a brief infatuation with the notion about 2 weeks ago. It was shot down though. The NYT clearly reads FR. And has no standards whatever, once it decides to smear. They are just fit to be tied that their bestest slime came right off everything but their own face before the evening news.
