The "stupidity" does not lay in the thread but lies in the fact that the constitutional free thought and speech rights of Americans are being curtailed all in the name of political correctness by the supposed “powers that be. We did not make Obama’s middle name an issue Barack __________ Obama and the elitists in the political parties and the drive-by media have.

The crux of the thread is to point out, in a humorous way, the absurdity of being forced to ignore reality/history, facts and THE TRUTH regarding the man's real middle name. This push to force the American public to deny it by being told "you CAN NOT mention Obama's middle name or there will be consequences" is frightening in regard to it's implications. The next step in the process is Americans will be told by the thought police that we can not even THINK the man's middle name, let alone speak it or we will be interned in a reeducation camp for bad "free thinkers". That is what makes this thread pertinent and relevant.
