Fight Obama on the basis of his socialism and insubstantial promises. Fight him on the basis of the cultlike and almost blasphemous adoration he incites. Fight him because of national security or life of the unborn or any one of a number of other vital issues—but for the love of all that’s decent, fight honorably. This ridiculous and embarrassing name-calling belongs in the preschool sandbox, not among supposedly intelligent adults.

I appreciate your desire for couth and dignity, yet beyond the cleverness, guffaaws and occasional over-the-line comment, the reducing of dangerous political (in fact military) opponents to appropriate objects of reprehension and ridicule is counterpropaganda and antidisinformation of the most patriotic American kind, my FRiend. Sound-bites and appropriate negative stereotypes are important communications tools as we seek to speak the truth to Oblammo! Hamas or whoever it was that this thread is about....
