Sorry, but more snows what youd expect from global warming, at least until it gets so much warmer that the increased precipitation (the result of increased evaporation from increased warmth) falls as rain.

Roof collapses everywhere....damn global warming!
My dog can walk right over the 4 foot high fence, sucks, we can’t just put the dog out anymore, have to watch it as it likes to chase cars that drive by.
Funny thing is, I have not seen any enterprising young people try to make money out of all this snow. When I was there age me and a couple of friends would go up down streets shoveling driveways for money. (I’m not THAT old either.
I don’t even see kids playing in the snow....
Guess the parents are just protected them from global warming.

In the last week I think we've shoveled a foot of 'Global Warming', which came after 8" of 'Global Warming' we had to shovel two weeks prior. And over the night we had another 1" of 'Global Warming'. Plus for today we're supposed to have MORE 'Global Warming' showers.

Tell him he can offset some of the carbon emissions from his private plane trips by keeping you driveway shoveled.

You’re lucky.
We started getting snow in November.

Nope. We just had the largest temperature drop on record in 2007 which essentially wipes out all the global warming of the previous 100 years. Therefore, the current excess snowfall really isn't due to increased moisture in the air.

So did we. We had a “warm spell” in mid-December where I saw a patch right over the septic tank, then the X-Mas/New Year’s storms hit and that was that.

Therefore, the current excess snowfall really isn't due to increased moisture in the air. You may be right; or it may take more than a year for evaporated moisture to condense out. I honestly don't know but I won't discount global warming because of all the snow quite yet.

Wow... you left Kalifornia for New Hampshire???
Actually my husband did the same "reverse migration" thing... left the Bay Area back in the late 80s to attend Dartmouth's B-school, and never went back. He hates the gray days here, but doesn't miss the California traffic and high housing prices.

4-8" of snow forecast for us tonight/tomorrow. Actually, since we're in the northern Connecticut hills, we'll get at least 8" for sure. Grrr... I think we've had well over 50" of snow this season. We haven't seen bare ground here since Thanksgiving... :-(
I've had just about ENOUGH of winter this year. I'm officially resurrecting our chant from the big Gathering of Eagles rally in DC last March:
WHAT DO WE WANT?
GLOBAL WARMING!
WHEN DO WE WANT IT?
NOWWWWWW!!!

Global warming forming on a fence wire outside my home this morning (yes, this is an actual picture I took this morning outside my house):

That is an AWESOME pic. Thanks for reminding me about REAL cold when I was a kid in Idaho. Just when I was upset about -10F and -20F windchills, I remember waiting for the bus in -25 temps and -45 to -50F windchills.

Spring has arrived (right on schedule) in Houston. My azaleas are blooming as are my flowering trees. All the oaks are budded out and I can hear the chirping of birds. All is well in my world. ;9)

I. Hate. You.
Just kidding--sort of. Actually, I can hear the sound of birds shattering as they fall from the trees and freeze before they hit the ground. Interesting sound, really.
