One of the issues is payment for Medicare and Medicaid patients — the government loves to expand these programs, then tries to stiff caregivers on compensation. As government health care programs grow, and the government continues trying to hold down costs by stiffing providers, more and more doctors are going to wise up and get out.

That’s ok because there won’t be many hospitals left for them to practice in anyway. Medicare is reimbursing hospitals less and less every year while at the same time requiring hospitals to put all kind of programs in place.
