Pardon the dumb quesstion, but what is FARC?

FARC is a Marxist narco terrorist organization that operates mainly against the Colombian government. The get their funds mainly from kidnappings, drugs and “taxing” of Colombian citizens in the areas they try to control.

I believe they are around 10,000 troops in size at this moment (they were around 20K in the 90s).
