“which gave us eight years of Clinton, the most destuctive POTUS in US history”

And did we NOT bounce back from that? Loses will happen, that is life. We can’t win all the time. If we throw away our principals then we are left with nothing.

No matter how bleak things seem to be we must hang on. If you become one of them then you cant complain when they hand you crap.

“Thus your reasoning is foolish. Please note that I did not slur YOU, sir, as a fool — as you did me.’

Same difference.

p.s. I’m a girl

We didn’t exactly “bounce back” from Carter - not even Reagan was able to fix Carter’s F-ups.

Carter ensured that Iran fall to the Islamists, that Islamists would view the US as impotent against assymetrical attacks, that the Panama Canal would leave US control, that the ChiComs could always have the Taiwan issue as a bargaining chip, that Sandinistas gain power in Nicaragua, that Robert Mugabe gain power in Zimbabwe/Rhodesia, etc etc etc. We still haven’t recovered from the Carter debacle, and Carter never got a chance to appoint a Supreme Court justice, while Obama/Hillary would get a chance to appoint 1-3.

Why should we take losses when we don't have to. Your "lets lose so we can win" philosophy is lost on me.
