I'm sure the Congresscritters and Senators are going to scream and demand hearings NOW to fix the problem, TODAY! - just like they did right before the 2006 election when they used this critical kitchen table issue to help drive the GOP out of office, right? The high prices then ($2.40/gal) seem awfully cheap today. After all, it was the GOP's fault because they were in Big Oil's pocket, right?

Naw, Congress is more concerned about determining whether Roger Clemens is telling the truth or not.
