I believe a Democrat would meddle with the oil companies. Last time that happened, we got shortages and gas lines.
To say nothing can be done just doesn’t seem reasonable. To say that the current administration is concerned about the price of gas would be difficult to believe. Did you see President Bush’s reaction when a reporter told him gas is expected to hit $4/gal? His reaction reminded me of Bush Sr. in his infamous trip to the grocery store. Disconnected would best describe both.
Finally, doesn’t matter what I believe. I have no clout, just 1 vote, and I’m not wealthy, (well the IRS thinks so, but that’s another story). What matters what the people believe, and how they vote. I’m telling you, make them hurt enough at the pump, and they would give anyone new a shot at making it better.
