Men beware. Ask anyone you date if she watches Oprah....and run for your lives.Amen! Or else be miserable the rest of your lives trying to please them.

Yes, I've know people who consider themselves Christians who get fooled by New Age teachings.
In every case they were not grounded in the Bible and so couldn't recognize the deceit and heresy.

The fact that an engaging dolt like Oprah has an audience for this kind of bilge can be placed squarely on the doorstep of Christian pastors who have been too busy taking surveys for their “seeker-friendly” churches instead of preaching the gospel.
The sheep are without a shepherd.

Thanks very much, Abigail, for the link. It confirms what I was only suspicioning, but had not researched it. A very good website, very good research. We’ve got a sad state of affairs if Osama gets in there, huh?

You are welcome. I think it’s all heading toward a one-world spirituality and a one-world government. As depressing as that is, we have to remember that God is in control.
To: Jorge
Yup, and New Age stuff is now in many churches via “contemplative spirituality” and “spiritual formation.”

Oprah is one of the most damaging influences in our country today.

It may sound crazy, but now I think having Huck (despite only couple of Electoral Votes) as #2 on the ticket wont be so bad. The man would at least bring MORAL ISSUES to the table. NO HUCK, please. He is anti-Catholic. He hid it from voters. He's not the "Christian" he made himself out to be. If you want to know more about him, find someone who lived in Arkansas while he was Governor and pardoned more felons than (his mentor) "Billy-Jeff" did.

Concerned about the nature of his 'self'?? He should simply have turned to some perennial words of wisdom such as these:
"The self is a relation which relates itself to its own self, or it is that in the relation that the relation relates itself to its own self; the self is not the relation but that the relation relates itself to its own self."
That was Kierkegaard describing Hegel, or mocking Hegel perhaps......
