Tiger CAN play the victim, though. A few years ago he was playing the Phoenix Open and someone spotted a man with a backpack containing a Legally carried concealed weapon.

The carrier was arrested and the press made it sound like he was a racist with the intent to kill Tiger. This was perfectly idiotic but Tiger has refused to play in Phoenix since then. And of course, this incident is played up every year by the press.

Until then I was a huge Tiger fan but that lost me.

I watch a lot of golf, but somehow missed that story. However, I googled it, and came up with this from an article @ Golf Today:
"Woods last played Phoenix in 1999, when police wrestled a drunken man to the ground and found a loaded pistol in his backpack. Woods' agent said at the time that Woods wouldn't return unless security was tightened".

When I took the concealed carry class here in Houston, we were told that drinking, let alone drunkenness is not allowed if you are carrying a weapon. If the dude @ Phoenix was actually drunk, I would question whether his concealed weapon was "legal". He probably had a driver's license as well, but it too is void if he was drunk.
