If any one member of Louisville’s team has an off night, Tennessee will run away with the game.

That's what happened when Tennessee and Memphis played this year for the one loss on Memphis' record. Both teams played sloppy, but Memphis a bit more. Since then, they've regained the focus they had early in the year. I had to feel for Tulsa in the championship game. About 8 minutes into the first half, Calipari sent in the entire second string team with Tulsa only having 6 points. They scored 7 more in the first half.

Well at least a team beat UK’s low score for a half....(ugh 14 points at Vandy??? WTH?)

Calipari is a great coach. I enjoy watching his teams play (except when UMASS beat UK in the regular season in 1996; but I believe that loss was avenged in the tournament!) Douglass Roberts is 10 times the player Tyler Hainsboro is IMO. I was on the edge of my seat the entire Memphis/Tennesse game. I think both teams were so pumped that it contributed to the sloppiness, but it was the best game of the season. Of course I was for the SEC team, but had it gone the other way, I wouldn’t have been surprised.

Sorry I prattle, but I LOVE basketball! My husband says I’m the only person he knows who knows the referees too. (Of course he’d rather watch a movie than sports so luckily we have multiple televisions in the house.)
