Unwanted Support? New Black Panther Party backs Barack Obama

Barack Obama’s campaign has rejected the support of the New Black Panther Party, after removing an endorsement by the group from its Web site Wednesday.
Obama spokesman Tommy Vietor issued a statement rejecting the Panther backing, and told FOXNews.com: “The page in question has been removed from our campaign Web site. It’s our policy with any content generated by a group that advocates violence.”
The blogosphere was buzzing Wednesday about whether his campaign planned to remove the Panther posting, just one day after the Illinois senator delivered a speech calling for improved race relations in America.
The New Black Panthers, who inherited their name from the Black Panther Party of the 1960s, had the page on the Obama campaign’s public forums. The group’s message said it is backing Obama because he “represents ‘positive change’ for all of America. Obama will stir the ‘Melting Pot’ into a better ‘Molten America.’”

I think you are right.
The Panthers like him and so does “Calypso Louie”. That should be enough for any reasonable person to proclaim BHO unfit for public office, at any level, and in any position.

It doesn’t matter what is on his website, for, just like his church’s website, it will be scrubbed clean for the world to see while who-knows-what kind of deals and handshakes are going on under the radar.
It was more than likely posted on a public forum, meaning anyone, even you or I could post there. And we could post anything we want. This is a non-story. Sorry. I’m not defending the senator formerly known as Barry. What I’m trying to say is if we wanted to stir up controversy it would be relatively easy to do because we could take on an alias (much like we do here) and post whatever we wanted to.

What a pickle Bollix Obama has put himself into over the last week. Every move he now makes to distance himself from certain black elements turns him more white in their eyes.

Any link to a racist/violence/seditious site posted on FR would be GONE in a matter of minutes.
As opposed to any group that advocates government-mandated wealth redistribution (taxation) at ungodly confiscatory levels.
That was my question! Why was it there at all? The other question I have is will the New Black Panthers be replacing Berry’s Secret Service detail?
ahhh - then how did it get posted in the first place? If that was your policy, it wouldn't have made it through that criteria.
