It’s a conservative district. The only problem is its weird shape which includes Tahoe and Reno which like most cities seems to lean liberal.

I live in the district, and for the first time in anyone's memory, Nevada County went Dem and voted for Brown in the last election.
Charlie Brown is an idiot. But it would be a big mistake to take his defeat for granted. Why do you think McClintock is in this race? Doolittle made this district vulnerable.

The only problem is its weird shape which includes Tahoe and Reno which like most cities seems to lean liberal. I can assure you that no California Congressional District contains any portions of the State of Nevada (such as Reno).
