To All,
After two years, the real story of the Pendleton 8 is finally coming out. A select few are in possession of the documents that show not only the actual events of that night in Hamdania, but the trail of corruption, incompetence, and blatant disregard for the lives of Marines under fire that resulted in unjust imprisonment and convictions or plea bargains for so many men. It's all on paper, it's all verified, and it's all coming out.
The documents and the story they tell will be appearing on Euphoric Reality beginning today with the first installment: Part 1 of a timeline explaining the events in the case over the last two years. I have chosen to put up this timeline because it's important for people to learn the players and their positions within the story--and it will give those unfamiliar with the case a chance to catch up on the events most of us are already quite familiar with. I will continue to put information up on the site over the next few weeks, and in doing so will name names, dates, places, and more, including documented and decisive links to sitting Congressmen, Senators, and higher.
For those of you who cautioned me about releasing potentially classified information or jeopardizing troops still in the field while discussing operational tactics, please be assured that it is not my intent to do so. In fact, all of us who have worked so diligently on this case for so long will NOT release anything that could put troops in harm's way, ever. That being said, this machine that the media and the Left have created, this "culture of corruption" so prevalent in the JAG Corps and NCIS needs to be exposed--not just because of its harmful effects in the Hamdania and Haditha cases, but because if left unchecked it will result in many more of these cases as the military attempts to fight a war while sacrificing its warriors for political expediency.
Please consider posting links to the story as it develops. While I'd be lying if I said I don't care about the exposure for my own blog, the bottom line truth is that the more people who know about this, the more chance we can actually make a difference.
Thanks to all of you, for each of you have contributed to this story, whether it be through covering it in the early stages, offering advice as we proceeded, or simply serving a sounding board for us when the sheer magnitude of it all made us half-crazy. This story is one of the most disgusting situations I've ever seen, and though in the last few days I've heavily weighed the pros and cons of actually following through with releasing it, I think my father's advice is most correct: Right is always right, and there is no substitute for truth.
Thanks for your time...let the firestorm begin. ;)
Best,
Kit
Bookmark to read more thoroughly later today as I have to run, but my first impression from what I have been able to read thus far is to the effect of pacification of the Carteresque Left, Human Rights Obamaniacal doofus’s that have amazingly become empowered within our otherwise sane Nation.
Looking forward to having the time later today/tomorrow to read on, and looking forward to the sequels.
Trust me, you haven’t read Agt Hutchin’s account yet
In his officla statement, they engaged this man and shot him up.
They went to view the man they shot, he was bleeding and dying.
Hutchins then shot him, the dead check is STANDARD PROCEDURE in Iraq.
But, remember this, NONE of what you read in the media is what is in the official documents, not in any truthful way, nor does the officlal document agree with the media.
sorry, typo
SGT Hutchins
Thanks

Those of us who have been closely following the "Haditha massacre" hoax have also been long aware of JAG's insidious agenda and the rampant corruption of its investigative arm, NCIS. We will never know how many soldiers and Marines have perished because they hesitated ever so slightly to pull the trigger out of confusion over nebulous "rules of engagement" or fear of vindictive prosecution by JAG's selfish, politician-wannabe lawyers. They certainly know by now that nobody up the chain of command has their backs.
Thank you, Commander-in-Chief George W. Bush. Nice job. Way to take charge.
Bumped and Saved for tonight...
It will require adult beverage fortification to read....
Praise be and all thanks.
REMEMBER THE HAMDANIA AND HADITHA MARINES!
Oh, and God bless you.
Thanks, for the ping, Chaplain. This and the Haditha and Iskandariyah cases have made me seriously question where the Country I swore my oaths to has gone in the last twenty-five years.
Here's hoping it travels all over, and opens up some eyes to the intolerable conditions and treatment these and other "war"-criminals have been subjected to.
The above is an absolutely unjust method. It will always have the appearance of being tainted, and it will always be tainted by such things as fallible human memories, inability to truly condense anything ever, even by the best of writers; and the very real likelihood of distortion by the writers.
A couple of things strike me in the article. Both are related to undue command influence.
1. First, the article itself addresses the appearance of undue command influence in a system that allows the convening authority to pick the members of the jury. That truly is a problem that Congress needs to address in a rewrite of the UCMJ.
2. Second, having the NCIS work for the Convening Authority, and appearing to work for the prosecution, also gives the appearance of undue command influence. I'll bet taht NCIS is supposed to be a neutral investigative group. In that regard, THEY should give ALL evidence directly to the prosecution and the defense. This idea that the defense is dependent on the prosecution to get evidence SHOULD BE unnecessary when such a thing as a "convening authority" AND a supposedly "neutral" investigative agency exists. NOT getting the evidence, or difficulty getting the evidence, can be seen by a rational, impartial, intelligent observer as giving the appearance of undue command influence.
Someone directed me to that very point once...
