"Disappearing into a warehouse, only to re-emerge on a bus half an hour later."

Somehow it's fitting. The Olympic 'flame' arrives in San Francisco--- only to be "in-and-out of the closet"...

The “pro-China” students are all Chinese thugs/spies.

San Francisco democrat politicians are so incompetent, they couldn’t properly manage a McDonalds Restaurant for 15 minutes.

Awarding the olympics to China was a grave mistake IMO. This torch thing isn’t the farce. The farce was awarding these games to a nation like China in the first place.

I’m not sure which will be more interesting. What occurs inside the Olympic events or outside.

Oh how sweet it is.

In San Fran, no less.

City of gays, gaggles and Gavin.

Back in the early 60's when I first visited San Francisco, on may way to being stationed in Japan, I fell in love with this beautiful city.

Of course, that changed when I returned from Nam in 67 and received a less than "hospitable" welcome.

Hey, Gavin, how do you like them apples now? Tee hee hee!

Couldn't happen to a nicer Moonbat and the Socialist Capital of the U.S.

"US Olympic torch relay descends into farce,"

Yes, farce is one of the kinder words to describe San Francisco

Look at this lovely, liberal comment after the article from John in San Fransicko:

"It's funny that so many people are organizing to protest the killings in Tibet while the U.S. government is bombing innocent people in Iraq every day. The U.S. government is building A WALL along our southern borders. And the U.S. government has killed more people in the world than China has ever done. This country needs a revolution."

Barf!

"Two hours before the Olympic flame began its undignified trek through the deserted streets and freeways of San Francisco, The Times witnessed the tension between pro-Tibet groups and Chinese demonstrations, some of whom had reportedly been bussed in by the Chinese Embassy.

The authorities in San Francisco faced a different problem: more than a third of the city’s residents claim some kind of Asian heritage. Many of them took to the streets in support of the Chinese Government — raising the spectre of violent confrontations.

No doubt, Bill and Hillary contributors and/or Chicom supporters and possibly agents.

WTF is this country coming too?

Moozies, Illegal Aliens, Chicom supporters, etc., ad nauseum, all not only unwilling to assimilate but extremely anti American and deliberately undermining our freedoms.

Makes me glad I'm a Seasoned Citizen, but my heart goes out for future generations as I fear from what this country will look like in 20 - 30 years---IF it survives.

US Olympic torch relay descends into farce

It's a shame. The Bay area is dominated by Asians, they are the Demonstrators. Just another Immigrant group that wants to fight a war in their home country from a safe place at the "Fireplace", in this case America.
Get your feet wet and fight it in China.

The olympic games are for everyone, not just China. These people harassing the torch carriers are disgusting. And yeah I do despise China too, but this is not the way to protest.

San Francisco punted. While sneaking down back streets and alternate routes the dignity of the event was removed. Fear won. Bullies won.

Who to root for? The Lefties protesting the Olympics in Communist China? Or the Lefties supporting the Chinese Communists?

Or should we remain neutral and let the Lefties destroy each other? This is like Stalinist Russia.
