Wow! What a great idea! And I bet not one criminal has thought of replacing the firing pin...or just stealing the gun...or... ...or simply using a revolver.
Too many lawmakers watching CSI and similar shows, where they solve crimes by dropping evidence into a machine and it spits out a receipt with the perps' name a la the Batcomputer.

Yeah. I think these people get their ideas from watching re-runs of Law and Order, the show that reinforces the ridiculous notion that only police and criminals own guns.
