Didn't see it mentioned on FR but a few nights ago I saw and heard McCain respond to a request (actually a demand) by some Islamic Group to stop referring to the terrorists as Islamic. They claim this paints all believers as terrorists and wanted it stopped.

McCains answer was that since ALL the terrorists were followers of Islam then he would continue to refer to terrorists as Islamic. In giving this reply he was unapologwetic and very forceful in what he said.

It is very heartening to see a politician actually stand by what he really believes instead of immediately bending over and grabbing his ankles as so many do when faced with the slightest criticism for their positions and beliefs.
