In summary, any attack on BO is “race baiting.” We are in for a long season of this, and it will only get worse. However, it is going to be increasingly difficult for BO to posture as the “post-racial” candidate when his flacks keep injecting the subject of race. The NC ad doesn’t mention race; only the BObots keep bringing it up.

Two words to the NYT: James Byrd

oh, but I’m sure they wrote an equally outraged editorial when the Dems ran that one, didn’t they ?

These people want to take our freedom away, bit by bit. I’m sick and tired of it. There’s nothing “racist” about quoting what Reverend Wright says. I will continue to say that Obama’s comfort with Reverend Wright’s screeds raises a question about who Obama is.

And the New York Times can shut up. They’re no more than a collection of Democratic flunkies.

The US can’t take much more of the divisiveness of the NYT.

The NYT is a gnat on the windshield of the US.

Do you really propose that that pissant rag will somehow outlast and overcome America? You need smelling salts. Go mingle with your fellow citizens for a while.

In my opinion it would be racist to pull the ad...

It would show a fundamental prejudice against our Black communities to allow such vile prejudice people such as Wright to represent them on a national level without due scrutiny.

My sense is that everyone who says, “Don’t talk about XYZ.” are contributing to the discussion of XYZ by waging their campaign opposing the discussion of XYZ.

That way they get to talk about XYZ, constantly reminding folks of XYZ, but able to say, “See I oppose XYZ” because I’m staying on record discussing how we shouldn’t discuss it.

Hey New York Times, don’t you need to concentrate on laying off people?

ha ha..... the NY Times is freaking out over the “shameful ugly” TRUTH about their candidate and his deranged hate-filled anti-American minister.

Amazing how a little truth therapy gets leftist panties so twisted...... as for John McCain, sir, please STHU unless you have something useful to contribute to the discussion..... I am soooo sick of McCain knee-capping conservatives and fellow Republicans instead of keeping his focus upon the real ENEMY, the political left that wants to destroy this great nation.

And the NYT wonders why they are losing money.

I’m tired of every single criticism of Obama being perceived as racist. By making a big issue out of candidates going to Bob Jones university the press decided in 2000 guilt by association was a valid issue in a campaign.

I wish someone would ask John McCain to come forward and specifically explain just what the heck is so racist about this ad. I’ll probably vote for him because the alternative is worse, but I shall hold my nose in the process.

If republicans want to send a message they need to nominate good strong conservative candidates for congress and go after the dems hammer and tongs.

Every republican in the country should point out to the electorate that as long as the congress is run by dems, we will never be allowed to drill or build a new refinery. Consequently, OPEC can continue to keep oil in short supply, feather their own nests and use that money for terrorist activities against us. Somebody has got to start making noise about how it’s the democrats who have caused the price of gas and food to rise.

You know what's " Manipulative. Shameful. Race-baiting. " ?? Rev. Wright. I heard extended clips of some of his sermons last night on Hugh Hewitt's show and one can only conclude that this man is stark raving mad. He's not a Reverend, he's an Imam and an angry one at that.

Frightening that people still think that way in this country.

How about the mini tempest in a teapot when Rush suggested that the Denver Democrat convention should be a grand cage match between the two candidates supporters, anarchist goons, potheads, militant gays and the effetes in academia. Crap like this Stalinist propaganda from the NYT makes me hope for it also. Riots, car burnings and yes the leftists bloodying each other and flooding the emergency rooms. Like to see the NYT, Boston Globe, etc. spin that crappola. We have gone from legitimate differences of opinion to one side be certifiably mentally ill and the other living in reality. BO is just too dumb to be president, he took the bait and even stripped some line off the reel by his knee jerk reaction to this situation. All leftists are at heart Stalinists, velvet glove now but iron fist later. In a perfect Obama world anything that is view as political dissent should be squashed, the perpetrators jailed and all evidence of their opinion be wiped from the public record. McCain like a good fascist should have FORCED the ad be taken down according to Obama. Dummy showed his hand by hinting he could have made that happen if that happened on his side of the aisle. What a moron.

If the Times editorial board would peruse a history book, they would discover that the Democratic Party survived 100 years by using race-baiting.

Again, there is nothing racist about quoting Reverend Wright. Unless one assumes that an African-American can spout any kind of rubbish without comment.

Wasn’t there an anti-Republican ad about someone being dragged to death with a vehicle?

Not sure how many heard this.... but, last night, on ABC Evening news... I heard a reporter who said the “VAST, VAST Majority of Pennsylvania voters who said that race was important, and weren’t going to vote for Obama were likely to be McCain voters anyway”.

So.... clearly, it’s only us Republicans who are racists.
