Oh no here we go again with the mormons.

The truth hurts but it is what it is: GWB cared not at all about what came after him. His conservative record is mixed, some good and lots bad. He did not use the bully pulpit well or at all and let the GOP be saddled with retreads and wannabe liberals. A strong dynamic VP could have brought the conservative wing unity and hope..now we are left with a dismal retread.

And Cheney gets to go back to placating OPEC.

This needs repeating a hundred thousand times. Spot on! Spot on!

It would have been best to have a Vice President that would have been able to run with a strong, conservative message, following the Bush presidency.

At the very least, it would have helped to have supported the most conservative candidate by voicing that opinion from the office of the President of the United States.
