The Hispanic Family: The Case for National Action (excerpt)
In the March 19 issue, the magazine reports the bad news from California: The vaunted Latino family is coming to resemble the black family. The magazine has the temerity to offer facts that are fighting words in some precincts of the right:
Half of all Hispanic children were born out of wedlock last year. The birth rate among unmarried Latinas is now much higher than the rate among black or white women.
In 1995 the unmarried teenage birth rate for Latinas was 20% lower than the rate for blacks. It is now 12% higher.
More than half of all young Hispanic children in families headed by a single mother are living below the federal poverty line, compared with 21% being raised by a married couple.

I agree with you.
The left has never truly been the friend of the working class or of anyone who is pro faimly.
The Hispanics are not PC. They like fast cars and big families.
Demographics rule the world and it is our job to start bringing some of the Hispanics to our side. This is the single most important thing we can do.
We do need to start with the school system that is re programing all the kids. They have started on my 6 year old this year and I’m fighting back.
One way is to form a “Union” of parents. Most parents have no idea of exactly what is being taught in school and that is a good place to start.
If we can’t control the school system will never be able to win the PR war.
We are loosing right now and we need to do new things.
This is a Forum that I started for our school. I have been forbidden by the director of using the schools email list so I will have to promote it by hand.
I have decided to pull the single school Forum format and go to a district wide format with a good conservative as a mod for each school. It will take some work but someone has to do it.
We need to start re building somewhere. In the last 8 years the left has raised a whole generation of activist ready to “save the world”. They are starting in kindergarten with “green” programs. I had a teacher tell me yesterday that being green is what good citizenship is!
