I like immigrants. We should make it easier for the well-behaved ones to register as such, to be documented, and to eventually become citizens if that is their choice. By documenting the vast majority of agreeable immigrants we would make it far easier to identify the disagreeable ones.

I like LEGAL immigrants, i.e., those who obey our laws. Anyone who is unocumented should be deported. It should be the choice of the United States, not the immigrant, as to who becomes a citizen.

Not only no, but HELL NO! If absolulutely pushed to the limit, I can agree to the first two (registration and documentation), but NEVER to the third. Citizenship MUST be reseved to those who entered this country legally. The absolute maximum "amnesty" I am willing to settle for is permanent legal residendy with NO path to citizenship.
