My point is we in the Church, like America at large, tend to wink at "common" sins, whereas we cringe at the homosexual (even when an adulterer is sitting next to us).

Really? Are there activist groups promoting "adultery rights" out there? Do shoplifters sponsor annual "Theft Pride" parades? Do wife-beaters insist that they be allowed to run sensitivity training in our schools and businesses?

There's a reason people "cringe" over homosexual activity--it's because homosexuals are demanding that society accept and affirm their disgusting practices in ways that few deviant groups have ever dared.

The main problem with fully accepting homosexual and other perversions, is that it lowers the bar of morality. Already, we are being set-up to accept pedofilia as normal, with NAMBLA on its way to becoming a civil-rights organization with sicko political patrons and judges to take up their cause. “Won’t happen,” some of you say? When abortion became the law of the land, most people did not foresee that it would lead to infanticie and euthanasia.
