This story highlights a terrible event for those who are pro-life as an innocent faces condemnation to death in a case eerily similar to that of Terri Schiavo with even similar players. They could be using this chance to kill as a way of consolidating gains in euthanasia established with Terri.

This is the Terri Dailies thread for May.

The newest video of Lauren and who she is can be found in the main story. However, the courts had supressed a video showing how Lauren is and her recent state, a far cry from the image the death team would have us think.

..................................

LET LAUREN LIVE ALERT !!!!

Great News - Lauren's video resurfaces!

Lauren Richardson's father Randy had been thwarted
in his efforts to save his daughter by a court order
forbidding the youtube video of Lauren interacting with
her dog and friends.

The video clearly shows that Lauren is NOT in a persistent
vegetative state, which her mother Edith is claiming.

Edith has custody of Lauren's baby girl and has never allowed
them to visit.

What kind of grandmother would be so unkind to her daughter,
as to keep her from her baby and try to have her starved?

PERHAPS THIS MOTHER'S DAY WOULD BE A GREAT DAY TO MAKE
AMENDS, Edith !!!!

How similar is Lauren's plight to that of Terri? A good example is that one of Mikey Schiavo's killer team is hired to Lauren's mom who wants her daughter dead.

Jon Eisenberg - THE RIGHT vs THE RIGHT TO DIE

"Jon B. Eisenberg was one of the attorneys on Michael Schiavo's side in the Terri Schiavo case. He has litigated in appellate courts on a variety of civil rights and business issues, including free speech, the right to die, reproductive choice, mediation, ethics, and corporate fraud. He is with the law firm of Eisenberg & Hancock LLP and teaches appellate procedure at University of California Hastings Law school in San Francisco."

Mr. Eisenberg has been hired by Lauren Richardson's mother. For what nefarious purpose, remains unclear.

More echoes from the Schiavo killer team, this time Felos, who would wish to free more from their burden of having to live...

.........................

CREEPY SCHIAVO LAWYER FELOS ON
LAUREN RICHARDSON

While recently reading a Delaware On Line article
about Lauren Richardson's fight to live, a George Felos quote jumped
off the page and made the hair on the back of my neck stand up!

Inserting himself into another disabled woman's family turf battle should
raise the hackles of any who remember his work with Michael Schiavo to
ensure Terri's untimely demise.

Felos, author of "Litigation as Spiritual Practice" has a history with disabled women
who can't speak for themselves. As a matter of fact, George Felos has a habit
of speaking for them.

The Delaware On Line, February 3, 08, article explained, "Felos said he was pleased that this is apparently exactly what happened with Lauren Richardson and her mother."

'This is just an example of why living wills (also called Advance Heath Care Directives) ... is not just an elderly issue. It is for everyone. We just don't know when our time will come,' he said. 'If there is any grace that came out of the Schiavo case, it is that lives were affected in a positive way,' he said."

Mr. Felos musings about Estelle Browning's so-called "right to die" struggle are chronicled in his chilling book available
from Blue Dolphin Press.

"Such a deep, dark, silent blue. I stared as far into her eyes as I could, hoping to sense some glimmer of understanding, some hint of awareness. The deeper I dove, the darker became the blue, until the blue became the black of some bottomless lake. "Mrs. Browning, do you want to die ... do you want to die?" I nearly shouted as I continued to peer into her pools of strikingly beautiful but incognizant blue. It felt so eerie. Her eyes were wide open and crystal clear, but instead of the warmth of lucidity, they burned with the ice of expressionlessness."

This encounter with Mrs. Browning led Mr. Felos, Esq. to his current crusader role in "freeing the disabled" in Florida
and chillingly beyond.

LifeNews has a story today on the similar topic. The core is the same. Hopefully, we can touch the heart of Governor Minner, reachable through the main story in this thread. Thread by wagglebee.

................................

Dover, DE (LifeNews.com) -- The family of Lauren Richardson continues to press her case and is now calling on the governor of Delaware for help to save her life. Richardson has become the next Terri Schiavo as her parents engage in a massive legal and philosophical debate about whether she should live or die.

Richardson is a 23-year-old woman who overdosed on heroin in August 2006 while she was three months pregnant with a baby girl.

Doctors kept Lauren on life support until she delivered her baby in February 2007. Shortly thereafter, her parents began a fight that is reminiscent of the battle over Terri's life and death.

Edith Towers, Lauren's mother, wants to remove her feeding tube and starve and dehydrate her to death in the same manner that Michael Schiavo subjected Terri.......

Thanks. Here it is:

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- With Mother's Day coming up this weekend, Planned Parenthood, the nation's largest abortion business, has a message for moms: send us more money. Cecile Richards, the president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, sent out a fund-raising request this week one pro-life advocate says is grotesque.

Richards honored mother's day by sharing part of an editorial her daughter wrote saying she got her pro-abortion views from her mother and grandmother, former Texas Gov. Ann Richards....

Governor Minner, please help Lauren live. Contrary to media propaganda, the truth be told that it was political suicide for Jeb Bush and the GOP to walk away from Terri Schiavo. Jeb Bush did what nobody else could. He got many republicans to switch their registration to independent when he walked away from Terri Schiavo.

Please stand up for Lauren, one of your citizens. Jeb Bush walking away from Terri in 2005 is a visual in my head that I will never forget.

Don't be a Jeb, Governor Minner.

The following is not pleasant to view. No matter how the dealers in death fluff and churn their words to sound pleasant or at least undisturbing, their craft of death is ugly, whether for the littlest of humans to the oldest. Pro-choice sounds acceptable to many since it is not necessary to face the reality. Denial can kick in, shielding one from the ugly truth. The first is our littlest ones. Jill Stanek wrote a powerful story on it with a YouTube some may find disturbing. Well, they should! This is what the death dealers are pushing down our throats and by huge numbers we swallow it with our shields of denial in place.

Breaking news: Another MI abortionist trashes babies in dumpster

Thumbnail image for breaking.jpgI think I've been away from the OR too long, because the video I just watched of what pro-lifers retrieved from the dumpster at the Women's Advisory Center abortion mill in Livonia, MI, made me queasy....

Monica Miller warned me the video was NC-17 rated. Seeing baby skulls and body parts and so much blood in the same trash as McDonald's and Olive Garden wrappers just got to me.

Citizens for a Pro-Life Society has posted this story on its website but hasn't yet released it to the press.

In April MI pro-lifers returned to search dumpsters at Alberto Hodari's infamous abortion mills to see if he had relapsed and begun throwing babies he had aborted into the trash (which he had not).

They thought while they were at it they'd check the dumpster at WAC and came up with a mother un-lode of aborted babies, many medical records, urine cups with names on them, unused syringes, sharps, and blood everywhere.

YouTube Abortion Dumpster Scandal - Women's Advisory Clinic

WAC is owned by abortionist Reginald Sharpe. He bought it from abortionist Rodolfo Finkelstein (recipient of my first annual abortionist of the year award) in 2005 before Finkelstein fled the country after being convicted of sexual assault of several patients.

In fact, Finkelstein started a late-term laminaria abortion on a mother the day before he fled in March 2005, leaving it for Sharpe to finish. That day Sharpe left the mill while the mother was laboring, and she screamed so loudly her mother in the waiting room called 911. Paramedics arrived and found she had just delivered a 28-week dead baby but was in acute medical trouble, so they rushed her by ambulance to the hospital.

sharpe 1.jpgFor that WAC job Sharpe was alerted on April 3, 2005, that his license was being suspended for 9 months for committing illegal late-term abortions. 2 days later his clinic burned down for unknown reasons. His license was restored in August 2006, just in time to begin aborting in a new building. Sharpe owns 3 mills.

The MI Department of Environmental Quality conducted its own search of Sharpe's dumpster after pro-lifers alerted it and confirmed finding what they found. But like it did Hodari, DEQ has merely given Sharpe a warning, "less than a slap on the hand," said Monica. "They're basically saying, 'Don't do it again, and we'll be back on this date to check you.'"

Read more details and see more photos at the CPS website.

[HT: Milissa at Catholic Pro-Life Committee; thanks for background info to stalwart pro-lifer Lynn Mills, who has tracked WAC since 1983]

..........................................

Back to my comments:

So that is how they deal with the little kids. Now, how do they deal with the adults who are candidates for their machine? As we know, no judicial system in America would allow such a cruel and unusual killing as dehydration. It is painful, ugly, and takes a longer time, up to two weeks of suffering. Can we imagine how awful it would be to treat a dog that way? Dehydration, glorified as "euphoric" by the masters of the death craft doesn't look so happy to me.

The picture is of Lisa McPherson who died of dehydration, the same procedure used to kill Terri Schiavo, also in the same area of Clearwater. This fate is what would happen to Lauren Richardson. Lisa and Terri were very attractive ladies before their fate as was Lauren who now faces this hideous death if the State of Delaware sees fit.

Link is to the Jill Stanek site.

In this thread by John Semmens, we see the amazing contrast. If courts like in Pinellas Park, Florida, can condemn an innocent to execution by agonizing dehydration for the sin of not being worthy of life to them, how would the same system dare to condemn the worst of the serial killers to such an inhumane slaughter? Where is the ALCU on this? Thanks to TheSarce for the ping. Recall, the condemned innocents do not get a single drop of moisture or nourishment on their lips in the up to two weeks it takes them to die!

A man awaiting trial on a murder charge is suing Benton County, Arkansas, complaining that the “skimpy rations” he has been fed in the county jail caused him to lose more than 100 pounds during eight months in jail.

“I used to be a sturdy 400-plus pounds,” Laswell boasted. “Now, I’m practically skin and bones. It’s cruel and unusual punishment.”

Laswell is being assisted in his suit by the ACLU. “This is but another sorry example of the pattern of torture and abuse that has overtaken the U.S. penal system under the Bush Administration,” said ACLU spokesman, Bertram Petty. “Starving prisoners is the kind of thing you expect in a Nazi concentration camp, not in America. It’s a clear a violation of the 5th Amendment.”.....

The truth is ugly indeed when what the death cultists and abortionists deal in is exposed. Pictures are worth a million words. Lisa MacPherson was also covered with cockroach bites in addition to being dehydrated and starved at the sci-fi HQ in Clearwater.

This is the very building Pinellas Cty Judges, lawyers and city leaders HAVE BREAKFASTS AND BANQUETS IN. Judge Greer www.judgegeorgegreer.com received an award for killing Terri from the sci-fi's attorney.

The deathbots are SERIOUS. Keep exposing them. It is a public service.

WTFO? doing heroin while pregnant is generally not a good idea.
All in all, she is screwed. Schiavo set the precedent, is it just a matter of how many billable hours the lawyers can rack up.

No it was not a great idea after all the months of being clean, but was it worth a death sentence by long, slow dehydration?

Yes, the Schiavo killing team tried to set a precedent with Terri and are trying again with Lauren. I know of no criminals guilty of drug use sentenced to a similar execution to that which might be reserved for Lauren. Personally, I don’t like it when the State can allow such executions and billable hours or not I will rail against it if it happens in America, the country I love.

We are not mixing the subject with our posting of abortion topics. It is all but different markers on the same slide of the spectrum. The death dealers are of the same specie regardless of preference.

.................................

I never said that a bill requiring Colorado abortionists to offer an ultrasound to women, “would have done nothing to stop women from getting abortions” (“Abortion sides agree,” The Gazette, Feb. 12; “Corrections,” The Gazette, March 1). Of course such a law would have the possibility of saving the lives of some precious children.

Colorado Right to Life opposes every law that regulates the killing of unborn children because regardless of the intention, such laws violate God’s enduring command, “Do not murder,” because they merely prune the abortion weed and strengthen its root, because such laws make abortion seem more palatable to the public and to politicians, because our conservative judges who uphold such laws become increasingly hostile to the right to life of the unborn and because if Roe v. Wade is overturned, such laws will keep abortion legal in Colorado because they end with the meaning, “and then you can kill the baby.”

Thanks, wafflehouse. I don’t want to read it wrong and apologize if it sounded as such. They sure as hell succeeded with Terri and are on their way to a largely unopposed success with Lauren. It is hugely important to them although not so deeply impassioning to the public eye.

As it stands for now, I agree, they are on the path to success.

In this essay by Rebecca Messall, genocide is examined. Because of its length, I excerpted it, hoping interested visitors will follow the link and read it in entirety.

...............................

Believing abortion is a stand-alone issue is like believing egg yolks appear by themselves without egg whites, shells, and male and female chickens. My greatest mistake as a pro-life person was in thinking Roe v. Wade arrived by itself. I didn't want to link abortion to other controversial subjects, which scared or confused me, detracting from the obvious atrocity of butchering a living, unborn child. Because of my narrow focus, I ignored the horrific world-view and the socio-political-financial machinery fueling abortion.

While reading the newspaper in May 1999, I noticed a headline about an evolution controversy occupying the Kansas State Board of Education. I flipped the page without reading the story. Like many pro-life people, I felt that the origin of the species was a matter of God's choice of methods--but not a pro-life concern. Busy in local pro-life matters, I believed evolution was an "education dispute," a controversy I could, gratefully, sit out. When a metro-area newspaper reporter sought my opinion on the proposed science standards, my cautious response was, having not read them, to remind the reporter that evolution in the wrong hands had supported the bloodiest regimes in history. The reporter urged me to read the science standards, assuring me there was "nothing to offend."

I did read them, and went on to research the history and content of the "national science education standards," a national model on which the Kansas science standards are based. I realized that evolution by natural selection has been the fundamental pro-life issue since Darwin himself. His argument that biologically inferior people threaten to deprive intellectually superior people of food and resources established a scientific-sounding rationale for genocide, which is used today by the abortion-based population control and family planning establishments, as well as others bent to this day on improving the race by laboratory methods.

I contacted the reporter, and gave her some disturbing preliminary research to pursue about the groups involved with the science standards, in the belief that she would do investigative research, whereas I would continue my humble attempt to prevent abortions through our agency's maternity home, and likewise help people recover from the anguish of abortion aftermath through our post-abortion counseling.

But the reporter rebuffed me. So, perceiving the newspaper's political commitments were set in concrete, I decided to document some basic information. The facts bear directly not only on my day-to-day efforts against the culture of death; they also concern public policy matters in science education, "family planning" and a host of issues about which the public has the right to know, and the duty to make right.

In 1871, Darwin argued that Thomas Robert Malthus' earlier theory of scarcity was the mechanism that drove human evolutionary "progress." In his book, The Descent of Man and Selection in Relation to Sex, Darwin wrote:1..........................................

Is Lauren PVS, or does she show adequate evidence for PVS to give good reason to snuff her? Thaddeus Mason Pope has a fine blog on Medical Futility and here is what he says:

....................................

Several people have recently urged me to consider studies demonstrating the error rates in diagnosing PVS. While I have yet to do so, I did notice this appellate opinion published yesterday in Wisconsin, and briefly reported by the Chicago Tribune.

In 2000, Tywanda Luckett suffered permanent severe brain damage allegedly due to medical malpractice. In a damages action brought in 2003, one of the defendants asked the plaintiffs to admit that Tywanda was in a PVS and that the PVS was permanent. Plaintiffs made those admissions. Presumably both treating physicians and/or retained experts had reached this conclusion. Notably, plaintiff's counsel made the admissions knowing that they would substantially reduce the value of the case both for the plaintiffs and for himself.

In preparing for trial, plaintiffs' counsel found doctor's notes stating that, in 2001, Tywanda could "follow simply commands," "comprehend some of what is said to her," and is "aware" and "responsive." Since such evidence strongly suggests that Tywanda was not in PVS, counsel sought to withdraw the admission. The trial court allowed this and the appellate court affirmed, even though Tywanda is now deceased and defendants cannot examine her. Consequently, the value of the case has now changed dramatically with the addition of five years of pain and suffering damages.

More from Professor Pope...

........................

With the end of classes, I am catching up on some reading. I just read this article from the February 8, 2007 New England Journal of Medicine. Curlin et al. show that "14% of patients -- more than 40 million Americans may be cared for by physicians who do not believe they are obligated to disclose information about medically available treatments they consider objectionable."

I find this troubling. While futility policies (and laws) are aimed at enabling providers to avoid providing treatment they deem ethically or professionally inappropriate, those policies and laws always inform the patient/surrogate and allow the opportunity to transfer. The objective is to allow specific providers to decline to provide some treatments, not to altogether prohibit the patient from getting the treatment. The objective is to allow providers to extricate themselves from the administration of interventions.

But Curlin et al.'s study suggests that many physicians' refusals look more like evangelism or proselytism. They never even mention some alternatives (even life-preserving or life-sustaining alternatives). Therefore, these physicians' patients/surrogates do not even know to look for a transfer or to seek review.

Sophie Scholl is a martyr of NAZI Germany few have heard about, but her story is set. A movie has been made also of her story. We find it so applicable to Terri Schiavo's case and cases like Lauren that we have adopted her cry and symbol as our own.

"We will not be silent. We are your bad conscience. The White Rose will give you no rest."

.......................

Executed by the 3rd Reich, Sophie
and her pals sought to awaken awareness to the plight of the Jews.

Their campus distribution of controversial pamphlets cost them their lives.

Meanwhile, in the U.S., the majority applaud the euthanasia movement, bought and paid for by George Soros (PDIA,) which starves and dehydrates the disabled, when they can't speak for themselves.

Is America today really much different from Hitler's murderous regime?

Say it ain't so, John...

As Sen. John McCain assumes the GOP front-runner mantle, his long-standing, but little-noticed association with donors such as George Soros and Teresa Heinz Kerry is receiving new attention among his Republican critics.....

John McCain funded by Soros since 2001 Candidate's Reform Institute also accepted funds from Teresa Kerry
