I’m sure that’s not all that yhey’re “whisking” around the city. Consider MRSA, etc.

Bedbugs are nocturnal insects.

Tell that to Bill Clinton. He has always got some kind of bad itch or rash or.....something.

This will be the real test for true environmentalist wackos. Will they be willing to co-habitate with bedbugs, or will they demand pesticides? There really are no other choices.

Not only in NYC, but luxury hotels nationwide are trying to get a handle on this problem.

One person working with an upscale hotel chain told me the infestation can be traced to one factor:

Illegal immigrants.

There’s one choice you didn’t think of. I bet we’ll see some type of activist group emerge on the horizon to save all the bedbugs so they won’t become an endangered species.

Right! A few years ago the Dept. of Ag. had a program in the South called the boll weevil eradication program. I asked them what would happen if, as they were almost reaching their goal, the EPA put the boll weevil on the Endangered Species List. They had no answer.

That report would be believable... if not for the fact that we no longer live in the dark ages.

“Bed bugs will travel 5-20 ft. from an established harborage to feed on a host. Although they seem to prefer humans, they readily feed on birds, rodents, or other mammals.”

I can’t quit scratching after going to the link you posted about bed bugs.

All those humans in NY must be a great feeding ground for all those bed bugs. Yikes!
