I hope LTG Sanchez doesn’t do that. I think highly of him...and to hear him turn all McCaffery/Clark on the Army would be a great disappointment to me.

I don’t think he will be a good president, but I don’t think he will do great harm to the country.

Wade through #1... or learn to swim in #2.

Considerable discussion on both MTP and FNC on whether Obama will help the Clintons pay off their debt.

No predictions from me because the situation is so fluid. There are so many factors that could influence the results, many of them out of the control of either candidate.

I have long half-jokingly (only half, mind you...) quipped to friends and acquaintances that the primary Force which moves the cosmos is irony... /grin

I would cite the current state of affairs as supporting that contention...

Our self-anointed elites have worked diligently for decades to wrest control of the nation, and indeed our personal freedom and rights, from We the People. Now that they are so close to fully realizing their dreams, their euphoria blinds them to the other ascendant forces loose in the world which are going to wrest that control from them, shatter those dreams and destroy both them and us in the process.

It will be interesting to watch this unfold, however.

Now Chris Wallace moves on to the “losing his bearings” remark.

They all have one script that they work from. Very boring.

The Rats seem to believe that what the country wants is either liberals or leftists for President. They just keep trying and putting up nominees more left than the last.

Kerry was out there and now he looks moderate compared to Obama.

But we don’t see the critical examination like on capital gains and how even if revenues are hurt, Obama prefers a “fair” outcome that costs Americans more.

You would think that such illogical thinking to such results on federal revenue would have economists being quoted in news stories everywhere. And it’s not the case at all.

You think that will change going into November. I don’t.

I’ve been thinking and praying for you all week. Can’t tell you how wonderful it is to hear that surgery was a success and you are recovering at home. Yeah!! Welcome back to FR! Bet it was great to get home too.

It isn’t that Black Whiteguilt Oblack is good, it’s that Harpy was a horrible candidate.

Obama’s wench says no to him as far as picking hillary for VP...

There will be a lot of Dems who would be scared sh*tless if Hillary would be VP, because of the power she would have to exact retribution on those who deserted her. Obama has to finish the Clintons off once and for all and remove any vestige of power that they might retain.

The popularity of the sitting president as a factor in the race is was overblown. In 2000 Clinton allegedly had a 60-65% approval rating and Gore lost. In Iraq the majority of Americans want us there until the job is done, ie until the Iraqis can maintain their own security. As for the economy, it was touted as the best ever by the Dems in 2000, all to no avail..

Unfortunately after being the Leftist whipping boy while in Iraq, he decided upon retriment it was easier to join the Dems then fight them.

Unless we have the courage to fight the Enviroterrorists we are going to have some very hard times.

The lumber industry is on its last leg due to hug a tree mentality. Trees are the most efficient solar generators in the world and regrow in 20 years, every 20 years w/o energy but can we use them? No, foolishness they want us to live in a Petroleum house.

Pray for W and Our Troops

Sounds like a trial balloon being sent up by the FOB’s to see how it flies.

Either Barakstar! will be gracious and say yes or he will avoid an answer or flat out say “no” and Hillary can bash him with it saying he doesn’t believe in party “unity”

It’s a lose-lose for Obama.

Great post as usual. I guess it's no surprise that the DBM is trying to hide the fact that they have self destructed in near record time. They will never change, just become more irrelevant every year.

BOR's problem is he tries to come off as a pure Independent with not a shred of partisanship in his entire makeup. Limabaugh on the other hand is an avowed Republican if not quite as conservative as some here would like him to be.

It's really about honesty and BOR isn't.

I don't think the media will change unless they are shamed into it by Rush, Hannity and others who will force them to address these things.

Even without doj, fbi or irs, the CCF is a brutal gang capable of anything. Ruthlessness can make up for a lack of power in other areas.

I agree completely, but they are far more limited with no hands on LE bureaucracies. Their mob ties are probably still intact, but the mob notices who might win...

I'm sure they can still hire and pay hit men, but can they still control the aftermath? When their pet ME in Arkansas was finding natural causes or suicide for people who shot themselves repeatedly with a shot gun or one guy who allegedly cut off his own head, they were in control of Arkansas LE, courts, etc.

Remember Buddy Young? Maybe they could still count on him, but could he still direct Arkansas troopers? One of their enforcers, the Pelican, is in prison right now. It might occur to the brighter thug hires that they can no longer guarantee safety from prosecution.

Also, if one super delegate gets dead or really bad owies, that could be a coincidence. If several do, all the old stories come up again and this time the press will cover them because they are in the tank for Obambam.

Remember that terror only works if people understand WHO they have to fear, and, when that becomes obvious to a newly informed electorate, the electorate will usually reject the murderous evil skanks. Even the mob tries not to hit civilians in order to avoid mass demand for justice.

IOW Catch 22: PR still matters but you can't intimidate if the targets don't know what you do/did/might do to them, but PR still matters and will destroy you if you overstep...
