The presentation on the McCain website is one of the stupidest, most dishonest pieces of economically-illiterate trash I have ever seen. It actually tries to argue that regulations would INCREASE American jobs. What a preposterous lie, and what an absolute turd of a nominee.

Not only that, but the little meter thing for American jobs starts at below half. It makes it look like we have an unemployment rate of 55% or some such.

It’s populist garbage at it’s worst.

This is what ClintoNx1 was talking about back in the late 90s.

If any of us tried to do something like this we'd be thrown in jail for either running a pyramid scheme or three-card monte game.

Of course it will increase jobs. Just think of the regulatory, bureaucratic, BS, worthless government jobs that would be created to administer this POS idea!!!

Just think of the bigger, more controlling, more expensive, more litigative, more powerful government we will have with this new bureaucracy of useless government employees! /s

As most followers of FreeRepublic have known for years, this never was about science or saving the planet. It's all about closing the economic gap between the USA and the rest of the world

From former Colorado Senator Tim Wirth, an ultra-elitist of the Davos crowd:

"What we've got to do in energy conservation is try to ride the global warming issue," said Sen. Timothy E. Wirth, D-Colo., the Energy and Natural Resources Committee's point man on that issue and chairman of the Alliance to Save Energy. "Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, to have approached global warming as if it is real means energy conservation, so we will be doing the right thing anyway in terms of economic policy and environmental policy."
