You are ripping McCain for something Bush has already announced.

Maybe you can point out where I "ripped" McCain for this.

don't act as if this is some McCain crock.

Maybe you can point that out, as well.

I swear, every time he opens his mouth I’m less inclined to vote for him.

What’s the difference between him and the other 2 ? Not much.

We NEED nuclear bunker busters. They COULD BE the weapon of the future (if we were allowed to have them).

Islamofacist leaders don’t care a whit about their own populations but they DO care about their own scabby, miserable hides.

Our ONLY deterrence against Islamofacism is nuclear bunker busters.

But just as DRILLING FOR OIL (the way to preserve American energy independence) has been abandoned by McCain and the RINOs, so the ONLY sensible use of nuclear weapons in the age of terrorism gets short shrift by McStupid and company.

McCain and the RINOs are, above all, stupid on nearly every issue.

Just as the Democrats are evil on all issues, McCain and the RINOs are stupid on almost all issues.

I might actually WORK for Obama this fall.

Instead, work to get REAL CONSERVATIVES elected to Congress................as a deterrent......

Not expecting that it would change your stance, but read posts #33 and #41.

As you can see in the address header of my comments, I posted to all FReepers who responded on this topic, so they can read the information I linked to. I know that not everyone on the thread was ripping McCain. Those who did are spoken to.

I tried to be a bit convenient. ;)

...before you enter into a total McCain slamming session, read this:
Bush reduced nuke arsenal:

I don't need to read that - I remember it. I ripped up some of the Bushbots on this site because of it, too.

I am no less outraged by McCain's statements because the current president is also a globalist bent on harming this nation.

Bush did indeed drop his request after months of Congress insisting he do so. That does not mean that they are not continuing with a clandestine program. I have much reason to believe just that.

Jane’s is also one of the better publications on Defense matters.

So McCain is going to cut off funds for an imaginary program?

Not even that monumental traitor William Jefferson Clinton did that. Keep talking, McCain, and you’ll drive away my vote in November.

I swear, sometimes I think the North Vietnamese transplanted part of some communist’s brain into his head.

Will save good money then, won't it? What's not to love about cutting funding for non-existent projects?

Having nukes is not like having a box of rifle shells.
They don’t just sit on a shelf ignored until used. It
costs plenty to keep them fit to use, and the funding might be better spent on another CVN or a B-2 or F-22 wing or
a couple of SSNs or maintain what we already have. Its not likely that we’ll need to make rubble bounce but it is very likely that we will need to fight a conventional war with the mullahs. A few nukes will cover the possibilities, while we sent the workhorses out to do the jobs they have always done.

“But for the sake of intellectual honesty, don’t act as if this is some McCain crock.”

Don’t lecture me, sir. I’ve given money to the man, though I sometimes regret it. This is but the latest in a long list of occurrences where McCain tossed conservative principles aside in order to attract “moderates”. He fully deserves the criticism he’s getting here.

As I wrote to another FReeper I posted my previous posts, with the links providing information, to all Freepers on this thread. I wasn’t addressing everyone with my criticism, just wanted maximum exposure of my response.
