Liberals do tend to have a basic animus toward need for laws that retrain man, except when it furthers their nonsensical agenda (AGW, etc.), by which they seek to justify themselves against a conscience that might convict them of breaking real moral laws.

But take the test yourself here: http://www.nationaldriverstest.com/national-drivers-test/ndt-test.php

One could reduce congestion AND get half the bad drivers off the road just by taking away women’s licenses.

You obviously haven’t driven around Detroit or in India and China.

“Behind South Korea.”

Too funny. My experience in S. Korea is over 40 years ago, but I do have to agree with you on that.

Whenever I see a car with a “Kerry for President”...

I tell them "2004 called, they want their loser back."

Insurance National Drivers Test released today found that 16.4 percent of drivers on the road – amounting to roughly 33 million licensed Americans – would not pass a written drivers test exam if taken today.

They probably can't afford the gas anyway. They'll just jam them on city buses with all the transients drug users.

I lived in California until 13 years ago, and every time I go to visit, I wonder if the use of turn signals, especially on the freeways while changing lanes, has become optional.

Not that Arizona drivers are THAT much better. Here we have people unsafely crossing 3 or 4 lanes of traffic on the freeway at once so that they don’t miss their exit.

Turn signals give away your intended position and your opponent with take up that position if given a heads up.

But if you feel comfortable with them, use them.

Take horns...I always felt they're for honky's...Gives them something to do while getting frustrated. Ya see if you got time to honk the horn, you have plenty or time to get out of the way or stop too.

To be honest, I pay little mind to mind games on the road. I'm generally much too busy passing traffic while they all whine, point and honk at each other.

If I guy refuses to sign a ticket, he’s taken into custody for failing to make a promise to appear.

I don’t know what the going policy is, but it would seem the guy should have been arrested.

If you don’t demand the residents respect the law, there is no law.

We bring problems on ourselves with policies like this. I hope your friend isn’t forced to look the other way.

It seems nobody is using signals here anymore except for myself. I do it out of courtesy for the other drivers. I can’t tell you how many times over the last month I have waited for someone to pass by, only to have them turn and never go across my intended path, which was why I was waiting.

We also have folks go across a number of lanes from time to time, so don’t feel lonely.

Whenever I see a car with a “Kerry for President” or some such claptrap, I always give that car a wide berth because I know the driver has severely diminished capacity.

What about the ones completely plastered with moonbat stickers?

Pull over for 10 minutes and let them get as far away as possible?

Well, if it had been my stop, he would have gone into custody right then and there...and I would be in the watch commander's office explaining how it was that the owner of the local car dealership had to go to Verdugo Hills for an "OK to book".

The boot decided he wanted a little more help than his 5'4" 120# FTO, which I guess, is OK, too. The guy wound up getting hooked in a "high risk" stop a few miles down the road and ad. charged, so it all worked out OK.

What I thought was funny was here was a guy, with a nice car and a nice house in the 'Dale, with, ah, a different cultural expectation of entitlement than used to obtain here not that long ago...
